Five induction cooktop elements of varying sizes and power levels provide all the power and precision you need. Induction works with a wide range of cookware, from cast iron to stainless steel—if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pan, it’s good to go.
ULTRAHEAT™ 4.3KW ELEMENT FOR QUICK BOIL OR TRUE SIMMER
With 4,300 watts of power, the LG UltraHeat™ element is powerful enough to rapidly boil water and flexible enough to turn down to a true simmer, perfect for soups and sauces.

Because induction uses electromagnetic energy to heat only your induction-compatible cookware, and not the cooktop itself, fire hazards and risk of burns are reduced for a safer experience. COOKWARE COMPATIBILITY INDICATOR
How well your cookware heats on an induction element depends on several factors, such as the cookware's size, material, and shape of its base. LG's cooktop is equipped with a built-in Cookware Compatibility Indicator, which rates cookware and element compatibility on a scale from 0 to 10, to help you optimize the power output and performance of each element and maximize energy efficiency.
